It is with a heavy heart, that the family of Nicholas Odie Williams, are having to announcing his passing on September 27, 2024. While this is a difficult announcement, the family knows Nicholas is finally celebrating life to the fullest with his Dad, in heaven, after enduring a long road of heart complications.

Nicholas was born on August 24, 1979. He was immediately named “the favorite child,” His siblings just had to deal with it.

While the anatomy of Nicholas’s heart was atypical, and not found until several years later, It was exactly how God wanted it created. Psalms 139:13-14 says, “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”

Although Nicholas lived a less than average life span, Nicholas’s did not live an average life. He had 5 children, which these days people think is crazy.  He loved his kids with his whole heart and they all meant the world to him. Nicholas was also able to take many adventurous travels during his life. Nicholas was able to laugh at the most inappropriate times every chance he got, he learned what he wanted to learn over his life time, and he loved who he wanted to love. Nicholas lived his life to the fullest while able.

If there is one thing Nicholas would like to leave to everyone, it would be to know you are a child of God. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by Grace are you saved through faith, And that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Nicholas is survived by his mom; Bobbi Williams, his sisters; April Fielden (Fred), and Nicole Masood (Eric), his children; Gavin Williams, Austin Williams (Jessica), Nathan Williams, Madison Williams, and Peyton Williams, Aunts and Uncles, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, that all loved him dearly.

Nicholas is preceded in death by his father; Johnny Williams.

Cremations will take place at the family’s convenience, and his ashes will be kept around as long as they match the decor.
