Rebecca Jane Leazer, 82, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Born on February 4, 1942, in Gaffney, Jane was the beloved widow of Bob Leazer, with whom she shared over 62 wonderful years of marriage. She was the cherished daughter of the late Oswald (O.S.) Lipscomb and Ruby McCullough Lipscomb, and a devoted member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

Jane was a remarkable wife, mother, and businesswoman whose life was dedicated to serving others. Her love for her family was immeasurable; she cherished her husband Bob and their children with all her heart. One of her proudest accomplishments was the establishment of Forklifts Unlimited, a thriving business she built from the ground up with the support of her dedicated friends and family. For more than 30 years, she poured her heart into this venture, creating a family-like atmosphere for all who worked alongside her.

In her retirement, Jane—affectionately known to all as Grandma—found joy in traveling with Bob, embarking on multiple oceans cruises a year. These trips became cherished opportunities to create unforgettable memories with her grandchildren, filled with laughter, adventures, and the simple pleasure of a good cup of coffee.

Jane’s love for her church community was profound; she valued the friendships formed within Epworth United Methodist Church and enjoyed the fellowship of her circle friends.

She is survived by her sons, Philip and Jeffery Leazer, both of Rock Hill; her daughter, Denise Mirat of Saint-Alban-de-Roche, France; her grandchildren, Ashley and Ramzi Karkoub, Meagan and Matt Pantone, Amanda and Keith Harrell, Sydney Leazer, Austin Price, Alliegh Leazer, Sutton Leazer, Amy and Tony Bernard and Olivier Mirat; her great-grandchildren, Dimitri Pan, Ivan Pan, Isla Karkoub, and Eva Bernard; and her sister, Mayella Blanton of Gaffney.

Jane’s legacy of love, dedication, and unwavering kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial service will be held at Greene’s Funeral Home, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 2 PM where friends and family are invited to celebrate her life and share cherished memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Leazer’s name to Hospice & Community Care, Post Office Box 993, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29731.
