Rock Hill, SC – Mr. William “Bill” J. Beaty, Jr., 81, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 at his home. A native of Gastonia, NC, Mr. Beaty was the son of the late William Justin Beaty, Sr. and the late Mary Modell Somerset Beaty.
Mr. Beaty served in the United States Army National Guard from 1964-1970. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Charlotte Hornets and the Carolina Panthers. He was a huge Elvis fan and enjoyed classic cars, roaming the outdoors and spending time with his friends. Mr. Beaty’s grandchildren were very precious to him and he loved being a part of their lives.
Mr. Beaty is survived by his loving daughter, Christine B. Yonce and her husband, Zach of Rock Hill and his grandsons, Gage and Gavin Yonce.
A Celebration of Life will be private.
