Rock Hill, SC – Hollis “Holly” Alexander Nichols, 78, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Westminster Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A service will be held at a later date.
Born on November 17, 1945 in Port Washington, NY, Holly was the daughter of the late Eben Roy Alexander and the late Louise Webb Alexander. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nichols.
Prior to her marriage, Holly was a picture researcher at Time Magazine. She became a stay-at-home Mom after Lora was born, but loved giving her time in service to others. She was a volunteer teaching Catechism classes, a Hospice volunteer, and a Family Circle Tennis tournament volunteer, just to name a few.
Surviving are her daughter, Lora Nichols May and her husband, Ryan May, granddaughter, Grace Alexander May, and grandson, Cameron Briggs May, all of Rock Hill, SC.
