Rock Hill, SC – Judy P. Mitchell, 69, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at her home.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2260 Chester Hwy, York, SC 29745 with the Reverend Barry Yates officiating.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Judy was the daughter of the late John Hoyt Mitchell and the late Jessie Elliott Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Joyce Mitchell.
Surviving are her son, John “Curtis” Mitchell (Jennifer) of Rock Hill, SC; two brothers, Johnny Mitchell, Howard Mitchell (Susan); seven grandchildren, Chandler Shugart, Austin Mitchell, Caitlyn Mitchell, Sean Shugart, Christian Shugart, Philip Shugart, Noah Shugart; and three nephews, Jay Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, and Matt Mitchell.
