Mary Lee Hardin Roberson, 81, passed away on August 29, 2024, at her home. She was born on October 31, 1942, to the late E. Lee Hardin and the late Mary Horne Woodall. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Percy (Rob) Roberson Jr., and sister, Beth Wiley. She is survived by her daughter, Tara (Bob) Tibbs of Gainesville, GA; son, David (Kim) Roberson of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Robert (Christen) Tibbs of Marietta, GA, Zach Tibbs of Atlanta, GA; two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many cousins. After her children were grown, Mary Lee returned to her career as a maternity nurse. For many years she was devoted to helping families welcome their new babies to the world.
There will be a memorial service honoring the lives of both Mary Lee and Rob at Banks Presbyterian, 10012 New Town Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173, at a date TBD.
