Rock Hill, SC – Richard Eugene Fletcher Jr., 62, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Richard Eugene Fletcher Jr. was born on May 12, 1962, in Greenwood, SC. Rick was a man of God, who spent much of his life serving the Lord in the church. He was an avid outdoorsman, a loving father with a heart of gold, and was known for his great sense of humor. He brought much comfort to many with his caring and calming nature.
He is preceded in death by his mother Reva Compton Fletcher and his father Richard (Gene) Fletcher Sr..
He is survived by his children, Jenna Fletcher and Haley Fletcher (Patrick Devine); his sister, Annette Tinkler (Chuck); his brother, Paul Fletcher (Michelle); his grandson, Jackson Devine; his nephews, Troy Fletcher, Cody Warg, and Hunter Warg; and his numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Fletcher will begin at 12:00PM for visitation, and a service beginning at 1:00PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Faith Family Christian Center, 3483 Homestead Road Rock Hill, SC. The burial will take place privately, following the service, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Rock Hill.
