Rock Hill, SC – Dorothy Hess Faires passed away at her home on June 24, 2024. Born on August 31, 1947 in Baltimore, MD to the late Frank Joseph Hess and the late Maggie Lee Irene Willis. She is survived by her son, Jamie Faires (Jennifer); daughter, Barbra Brackett (Randy); brother, Lenny Hess (Cyndi); three sisters, Mary Regina Hess, Margaret Rose Parypa, Patricia Ann Schultz (Robert); four grandchildren, Valerie Gillespie, Ashley Gillespie, Ella Faires, Bryson Faires; great-grandchild, Tredyn Gillespie; and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved reading Nicholas Sparks books and traveling.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732. The interment will be on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11 AM Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road, 620 S. Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC, 29732.
