Lynda Bernice Brown, age 74, passed away peacefully at home May 21, 2024.  Lynda was born September 25, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY to Ella Mae Smith and Robert Smith, one of 9 children.

Lynda started her family in Germany with Robert Marshall Brown after marrying in March 22, 1963.  Of that marriage they had two children Robert “Bobby” Marshall Brown and Renee “Secret” Brown (Felton).

She was always ready to drive her loved ones to the family home in Milledgeville, GA.

One of Lynda proudest moments was watching both her children attend and complete their college education.  Moving from Philadelphia, PA to Fort Mill, SC over a decade ago, she loved baking, doing puzzles and having enjoyable conversations with her grandchildren.

Lynda was saved, and a member of East End Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY. She participated in Church missionary work through the “Community Reach Out Club”, and by visiting the “sick and shut in” at nursing homes.
