Rock Hill, SC – Nancy B. Weatherford, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Harbor Chase Riverwalk.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm-4:30 pm on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. Burial will be private.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Nancy was the daughter of the late Carl W. Belk and the late Willie Rodgers Belk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Donald Weatherford; her son, Allen Donald Weatherford, Jr.; brothers, Charles H. Belk and James “Jimmy” W. Belk.
Nancy was a 1951 graduate of Rock Hill High School. Many residents of Rock Hill knew her from her service as a bookkeeper at Drum’s Tires for more than 30 years. She enjoyed dancing at the American Legion and dining and traveling with friends and family. Nancy was a selfless and devoted wife, sister, and mother. She and her husband were members of Lakewood Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Travis (Julia) Weatherford of Columbia, SC; her sisters, Margaret Elizabeth Simmons and Julia “Judy” Ferrell; and her brother, Crawford “Buddy” (Joyce) Belk.
