Rock Hill, SC – Lauretta M. Tremblay passed away on May 9, 2024. She was born on November 16, 1938 in New Haven, CT, to the late Lawrence Michaud and the late Juliette Poulin.

She shared 64 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Noel H. Tremblay, and together they nurtured a family filled with fierce love.  She leaves behind two sons, Paul and Mark (Michele); two daughters, Denise (Sione Latu) and Lisa (Robert Ortiz); and her brother, Larry Michaud. Her legacy extends through her seven cherished grandchildren: Meagan (Matthew) Tremblay Dameron, Thomas (Jessica) McCarthy, Christopher Tremblay, Sean Peters, Tyler (Madelyn) Tremblay, Austin Bennett, and Brianna (fiancé, Christopher Langley) Tremblay, as well as her two great-grandchildren, Jaxon McCarthy and Luka Dameron, with another great-granddaughter Tremblay on the way.

She was an Assistant Director of Law School Admissions at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Beyond her career, she was deeply engaged in her community, actively participating in the Owls Club and Senior Citizen organization in Rock Hill. She enjoyed country couples dancing, family dance parties, beach life, floating in the pool, shopping, cosmos with extra ice, playing card games and board games, writing google reviews, traveling and swooned over Frank Sinatra. Her lifelong dream accomplished was a trip to Paris. Family was most important to her. She loved her family and often stated her greatest accomplishment in life was her (4) children, (7) grandchildren and (3) great-grandchildren.

There will be a Visitation on Saturday May 18, 2024 starting at 1:30 PM at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. 29732. A Memorial Service will follow after the visitation at 3:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.
