Mary Gladys Stephens, 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend John Helms officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 pm in Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC. Visitation with family and friends will be from 9:00 am till 10:15 am prior to the service.
Born in Cheraw, SC, Mrs. Stephens was the daughter of the late John Wilson Tucker and the late Julia Rezell Keith Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, James “Buck” Wilson Tucker, Henry “Buddy” Patrick Tucker, Charles Randy Tucker; sisters, Wilma Atlas Loflin, Lois Jean Poston, Lola Mae James. She was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church, Charlotte, NC.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by her husband, Donald W. Stephens; two sons, Mike (Tamara) Victory of Charlotte, NC, and Kenneth (Becky) Victory of York, SC; her daughter, Terry Johnston of York, SC; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Frankie Tucker of Society Hill, SC; sister, Carolyn (Courtney) Stokes of Society Hill, SC.
