Rock Hill, SC – Mr. Ronald Eugene Banks, 78, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the home of his son, surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Pastor Leslie LaPrise officiating. Visitation with the family and friends will follow the service at the funeral home.
Born in York, SC, Mr. Banks was the son of the late McKinnley D. Marthers and the late Pauline Peay Adams Marthers. He was also preceded in death by his siblings. He was retired from Food Lion Stores with 30 plus years of service. He was a member of Crossroads Church of The Nazarene, where he loved playing the drums with the music program, which was one of his lifes passions.
Mr. Banks is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Susan Gregory Banks; two sons, Ronald Greg Banks, Mark Travis Banks and his wife, Crystal of Rock Hill; two daughters, Kristie Ann Banks of York, and Melissa Jane Banks of Rock Hill; two grandsons, Holden and Caden; four granddaughters, Tierra, Kearstan, Kathryn, and Skyler; several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for Mr. Ronald Banks services to Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel.
