Rock Hill, SC – Carolyn N. Finley, 84, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
The service will be held at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church, 5780 Allison Creek Rd, York, SC on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 3:00 pm, with Rev. Sam McGregor officiating.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Carolyn was the daughter of the late Boyd Newman and the late Bernice Catoe Newman. She was retired from a job she loved at General Tire with more than 30 years of service. She enjoyed reading, and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Allison Creek Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her two daughters, Beth McCreery and her husband, Eddie of Huntersville, NC, and Alison Rios of Rock Hill; two grandsons, Hunter McCreery and his wife, Rebecca, and Aiden Rios; three granddaughters, Haleigh Shedd and her wife, Kandice, Makayla Finley, and Gabrielle Culp and her husband, Robert; two brothers, Tommy Newman and his wife, Anne, and Charles Newman and his wife, Shari.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carolyn’s name to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
