Rock Hill, SC – Ann Lee Barnette Cobb, 96, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Brookdale Assisted Living – Ebenezer Road.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-11:50 am on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC. The service will follow at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Bill Gressette officiating. Burial will take place in Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road.
Born in Spartanburg, SC, Mrs. Cobb was the daughter of the late Eugene and Fannie Barnette of Chesnee, SC. She was the widow of Edmund J. Cobb. She was retired from Sears with 25 years of service. Mrs. Cobb was a military wife. She and her husband were stationed at Air Force bases around the world. She attended Park Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sister, Rachel Barnette Burrage; two nieces, Tommie “Teejay” Simpson (Bobby) and Teresa Lewis (David); and nephew, David Burrage (Diana), all of Rock Hill. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.
