Rock Hill, SC – Lesa Gay Tinkler, 65, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her home.
A service for Lesa will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with Reverend Emily Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
Born in Rock Hill, SC, Lesa was the daughter of Mary Wallace Tinkler the late Leonard Tinkler. In her younger years, she was a proud of her role as a cheerleader at Northwestern High School. She served others in her work at both USC at the Russell House and later at Ollie’s retail store in Rock Hill. She enjoyed playing golf, loved the USC Gamecocks, and she loved to craft and shop. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her mother, Mary Wallace Tinkler; cousins, Regina White, Randy Sweatt, Ray Tinkler, Kevin Tinkler, Brian Tinkler, Danny Wallace, Sheila Bigger, and Mike Bigger; her uncle, Donnie Wallace; her aunts, Margie Wyatt and Aggie Wallace; she also had a very special relationship with her cousin, Demmie White.
