Rock Hill, SC – Gloria Moss Cranford, 77, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 surrounded by her family at Piedmont Medical Center.
The service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Woodhaven Baptist Church, with Dr. Tom Patterson officiating. Special words will also be shared by Scott Blasingame and Kenny Vinson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Born in Monroe, NC, Gloria was the daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Moss. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gene Cranford and brother Barry Moss. Surviving are her three daughters Angela (Derek) Seed, Anita (David Cummings) Andrews, Alison (Justin) Mayhugh, two sisters Rosemary (Ken) Faulkenberry, Juanita (Dewey) Adams, and four grandchildren; Jordan, Kara, Orin, and Ellerry.
She was retired from American Pen & Panel. She was an active member of Woodhaven Baptist Church where she was dedicated to her involvement in the Hearts of Gold Ministry, Tuesday morning WMU Group, and various committees. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her family, going on beach vacations, reading, gardening, and shopping.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gloria’s name to Woodhaven Baptist Church Hearts of Gold Ministry, 2060 Marett Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
