Bertha Suarez, 64, passed away April 12, 2022, at 12:05 PM.
She is survived by her husband Gary and two sons Michael and Steven.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gustavo and Maria Lucinda Rojas.
She was born in Cali, Colombia and came to the US in the 1980’s. She was a food service manager in the school district of Rock Hill for 15 years. She was planning on retiring this year and dedicating her time to her first born grandson and traveling the world with her husband.
She was loved and respected by everyone that had the privilege to know her. Her kind heart, selflessness, and joy radiated from her and she lit up every place she walked into. Her contagious laugh and beautiful smile will forever be imprinted in the hearts of those who loved her.
She loved to entertain and host family gatherings art her house. Everyone loved going to “Tia Berthas” house. Her passion was her family, she was the glue that kept them all together. She will be remembered as the happy, joyful, most remarkable person that she was. She will be truly missed and remain in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Suarez at 11AM on Sunday, April 14, 2023, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
