ROCK HILL - Ms. Margie J. “Margie Mama” Osborne, 82, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at her home.  

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Reggie Hopkins officiating.  Burial will be private.

Born in Pageland, SC, Ms. Osborne was a daughter of the late Daniel Lee and Ollie Jackson.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the custodian for over 25 years.  She also enjoyed keeping the nursery at the church.  Ms. Osborne was a faithful Christian woman who led by example.  She touched many lives and everyone who met her was a better person because of it.  Without a doubt, when she met her Savior the first words she heard were “Well done thou good and faithful servant”.

Surviving are her children, Ronnie Stephen Osborne of York, Christine Osborne of the home, Debra “Debbie” Osborne Timmons (Jeff) of the home and Brian Edward Osborne of Rock Hill; her brother, John “Bud” Jackson of Fort Mill; her sister, Ann Jackson Crosby of Fort Mill; her grandchildren, Jordan Olivia Timmons, Jenna LeeAnn Timmons and Jackson Ronnie Timmons; her great-granddaughter, Collyns Reese Timmons; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Townley “Floyd” Jackson and her sister, Emma Jean Jackson Long. 

The family will receive friends at the home.
